We are pursuing a strategy of sustainable, profit-oriented growth with a steady increase in enterprise value. Our focus regarding our acquisitions is therefore on thriving businesses that offer substantial growth and profit potential in view of future development.
Our core investment focus lies in African financial services and commodity trading companies, particularly in Southern Africa. By investing in these sectors, we aim to support broader financial inclusion. Financial inclusion in Southern Africa has improved significantly, especially through digital financial services such as mobile money. Yet, with 90% of transactions still made in cash, the potential for expanding cashless payments remains vast. Despite existing challenges – such as liquidity issues, limited financial access, and regulatory constraints – the financial sector offers high long-term value. Through strategic investments and sustainable development, we seek to participate in Africa’s dynamic fintech and trade growth.

Our Investment Approach
Our investment approach is driven by sustainable, profit-oriented growth and a commitment to increasing long-term enterprise value. We target companies with strong earnings potential that can be acquired at attractive valuations and offer room for revenues growth, operational improvement and value creation.
By investing in financial services in southern Africa, we aim not only to capture growth opportunities but also to support broader development goals. We believe that financial inclusion is key to reducing poverty, and the region’s growing adoption of digital financial services (e.g., mobile money) offers enormous potential. Despite progress, cash still dominates over 90% of transactions, signaling vast room for innovation and growth.
We are convinced that the region offers significant long-term opportunities driven by urbanization, a young and growing population, increasing digital connectivity, and robust trade in natural resources. Despite existing challenges such as regulatory hurdles and infrastructure gaps, we view Sub-Saharan Africa as a dynamic and promising market for impactful and sustainable investments.
We have started defining our investment strategy in 2024 and acquired our first portfolio companies in 2025.
